The main sources of inspiration are Zelda, Metroid and Portal. Supraland assumes that you are intelligent and lets you play independently. The story is minimal, gives you an overarching goal to pursue, and then sets you free. As you explore the sandbox, you'll run into some other characters and exchange pleasantries, but for the most part, Supraland's plot is as straightforward as they come. By borrowing recognizable elements from tons of different game genres, Supraland produces a surprisingly original gameplay experience.
As you make your way to the Blue king's court, you'll encounter various obstacles that block your path. Whether it's an out-of-reach button, an exceptionally long jump, or dangerous enemies, you'll have to upgrade your character to overcome each challenge. After the tutorial at the beginning of the game, you're essentially free to explore any area you can reach, collecting coins as you investigate various locations.
Coins can be cashed in back at your village for various upgrade tokens. The whole world and surroundings is a little boy's fantasy. The gameplay is focused on exploring a large and eventful world, where at the end of each location a chest with useful items awaits. The territories of the lands are divided between two tribes: red and blue men. On his way, the hero will face many puzzles. If you understand the principle and logic of the riddle, the solution will appear on the surface.
